Optelec Launches New Web Site

Barendrecht, October 6th, 2008 - Today, Optelec announced the launch of its new website.

Through one central landing page all Optelec offices can be accessed quicly and easily. Go to http://www.optele.com or http://www.optelec.eu, select your preferred country and language and the website will immediately redirect you to the Optelec office of your choice. The landing page also contains a feature that allows persons using a screen reader to visit the website in a screen reader friendly format.

Each website has been build around a five-item menu. Highlights about Optelec and our products can easily be accessed by clicking on one of the bouncing links in the bottom part of the homepage.

Products have been organized into four catagories:
- Desktop product range: ClearView+ and ClearNote+ video magnifiers for use as a stand-alone device or in combination with a PC.
- Portable product range: Compact+ and Traveller+ portable video magnifiers for use at any location.
- Blindness product range: Braille displays for use at work, home, school or on the go that provide complete and easy access to applications on your computer, PDA or Smartphone.
- Optelec Braille cells

Each category or product page will present information with regard to:
- Product usage;
- Features and specifications;
- Supported devices;
- Product video presentation or printable product documentation

If you need help using our products, you can:
- Read product documentation by selecting the products menu
- Listen to and watch presentations of our products. These presentations can be found on the product page of your choice.
- Send us an email via our information request form that can be found in the contact menu

We feel this new website makes information easier accessible. However, it is our intention to create a website that is and will be further developed around your requests and ideas. This means that at this moment our dealer zone is not accessible. We would like to invite you to get involved in the development process of our website and dealer zone. Please let us know what kind of information you would like us to add to the website.
