FarView - BETT Awards Finalist

The FarView portable video magnifier featured as a finalist in the Special Education Needs category at the 2010 BETT Awards.  The entry was chosen by the BETT Awards judges as a finalist for the following reasons:
  • FarView has a practical, portable size for use in and out of classrooms
  • It is a valuable resource for use within community settings, such as when reading a menu
  • It has useful document and distance capture features
  • The ability to transfer to a PC for extended storage enables collections of documents including maps, and so on
  • The connection for use with an external monitor provides flexibility in some school settings
