Intelligence comes as standard
The intelligent camera preset system allows the ClearNote and ClearNote⁺ to remember specific image settings when connected to a PC.  Imagine focusing upon desktop reading material and then moving the camera to focus on a classroom whiteboard.  When the camera is moved to point towards the desktop again, the ClearNote will automatically re-adjust the mode and magnification to its previous setting, making reading quicker and easier.

Less space, more performance.
Using the ClearNote software, it is possible to capture screenshots of a presentation or the classroom whiteboard and to store an unlimited number of images for future reference.

The ClearNote software runs seamlessly with a number of popular screen enlargement packages, including SuperNova and ZoomText.  A simple button press on the computer keyboard will switch to split-screen view, showing both images simultaneously.

Optelec offer two different USB-compatible video magnifiers.  The ClearNote weighs only 1.1 kilograms and collapses down to a convenient size.  Alternatively, the ClearNote⁺ offers a more powerful camera, external light, carrycase and the possibility to connect directly with a stand-alone VGA monitor.

It is recommended that any PC used with the ClearNote or ClearNote+ has some dedicated video memory.
